We are delighted to welcome back Prudence Malinki, Head of Industry Relations at MarkMonitor, to Nordic Domain Days 2026.
Prudence is an NDD veteran, and one of the clearest, most engaging policy voices in our industry. With well over a decade in the domain world, she leads MarkMonitor’s global industry relations work and sits on the bodies where the rules of the game actually get written: the PIR Advisory Council, the NZ Registrars Forum, the .ie Policy Advisory Committee, the DNS.be Registrar Forum, the .se Registrar Board, and ICANN’s Council representing the Registrar Stakeholder Group. She is known for razor-sharp wit and for being a passionate advocate for MarkMonitor clients and their interests.
On Tuesday morning, in Policy Block 2, Prudence brings us "DNS Abuse Mitigation: A Corporate Registrar Perspective." DNS abuse reporting looks very different depending on which side of the ticket you sit on, and this session pulls back the curtain on what abuse mitigation actually involves day to day inside a corporate registrar: how reports come in, how they are triaged and acted on, and what separates a useful report from one that goes nowhere. Prudence will cover the initiatives that have moved the needle and the ones that have not, the operational measures her team relies on, and how ICANN’s ongoing work and the wider legislative environment are reshaping what corporate registrars are expected to do.
Her session is coordinated directly with Thomas Rickert’s policy and regulatory deep-dive that follows, so the two complement rather than overlap.
Welcome back, Prudence.
