With the Nordic Domain Days Program live, the observant reader has spied that the second day of main stage session is purely technical and we are honored to have infrastructure veteran Lars-Johan Liman of Netnod join us as one of the speakers of the day.
Lars-Johan is the lead for policy and operations for one of Internet's 13 root name server clusters for the DNS - a position he has held for almost 30 years. He is heavily involved in international coordination efforts for the global root service and DNS standardization within ICANN, IETF, RIPE, and other fora.
He currently chairs ICANN's Customer Standing Committee that audits the name-related efforts of the IANA functions operator, and he is a founding member of ICANN's Root Server System Advisory Committee.
