We are pleased to announce that Aysegul Tekce, GDD Accounts Senior Manager at ICANN, will be joining us at Nordic Domain Days.

Aysegul has been with ICANN since 2014, working closely with registry operators and registrars across Europe as part of the Global Domains and Strategy team. With over a decade at ICANN and more than 20 years of professional experience, she brings a practical understanding of the relationship between ICANN and the contracted parties that make up our industry.

At NDD, Aysegul will take to the stage during the Domain Industry Update with her session "Expansion of Domain Names", focusing on what to expect from ICANN's 2026 round of new gTLD applications. With the application window opening on April 30th, just weeks before we gather in Stockholm, this is a session that could not be more timely. Whether you are considering an application, advising those who are, or simply want to understand how the next round will shape the domain landscape, this is one to mark in your calendar.

Aysegul joins Theresa Swinehart and Raymond King in what is shaping up to be a strong Monday lineup around the new gTLD round, each bringing a different perspective to one of the most significant developments in our industry in over a decade.
